Dan Holroyd Head Percussion Instructor
Mr. Holroyd has directed the
bands at Cheyenne East High School for the past fifteen years. He has been teaching in Wyoming for twenty years. Mr. Holroyd has a bachelors of music education degree from the University of Wyoming and masters degree in technology in education from Lesley University. The East High School Marching Band
is currently one the largest marching bands in the state. The East High Marching band Concert bands and Jazz Bands have received numerous awards within the state and in Rocky Mountain Region. Dan was the assistant
percussion instructor with the 2000 and 2002 WHSASM bands and has been the head percussion instructor for each band since. Dan has held office in
the Wyoming Music Educators Assoc. as Band Vice President, Marching Band Chairman, and currently is the technology representative for the WMEA board. Dan has also held offices at the district level.
